Hello, I am Jane – I live with my big ole’ yellow lab “Sparky” and “his” kitty, “Isabelle”.Sparky adopted her during the hurricane and she has loved him ever since. I, of course, love them both. Years ago, as a commercial artist – I had to travel. There was not much choice, our pets either came with us on trips or else we just didn’t go. It was such a relief when I did find someone who I felt comfortable with taking care of my “loves”.
I will always remember that feeling of freedom! I now enjoy providing to others the things I needed then: someone I could trust to care for my home and my pets. I want you to feel comfortable in going to work or taking a trip whether it’s a day or a week and know that your home is safe and your pet(s) are happy.

Hi, my name is Debbie. I’ve recently come out of retirement after 30 years from the corporate world to enjoy my dream job of working with animals! I have been fortunate to have been raised with pets and of course chosen to have them live with me and my family all of my life. Our current family pets are Baloo, our wonderful rescue dog, and our four cats: Sonny, Tippy, Precious, and Merlina. They are a constant source of joy and complete our family as my husband and son are also “wild about pets”!
My interest in sharing my time with people and animals connected me with the program available to be an active volunteer to take shelter animals to nursing homes for pet therapy. I quickly learned that I likely got back much more than I could have expected from volunteering. I do know every animal has a different personality and different needs during their life and I promise I will treat yours like my own and give them my undivided attention, love and care. Thank you for offering me the opportunity to serve you.

I grew up with pet(s) and from my own childhood, I know the importance of having a pet in the home, when possible. Today, my family includes my husband, two children and two pets. Our beautiful dog CiCi and rescue cat Callie are helping my children with patience and the growing responsibilities of caring for a pet as well as the benefits from having them in our home.
